(For more, see my previous blog).<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019d been fearing that my findings drawn from research, interviews and my own experience could be past their used by date.<\/p>\n<p>Although it gave me no joy to read some of the grim findings in the Women&#8217;s Economic Equality Taskforce&#8217;s report\u00a0(including the fact that gender inequality in Australia is costing the economy $128 billion), I was relieved that my book well and truly still has a shelf life.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been given further evidence that my book still has a shelf life because I&#8217;ve been invited to speak at 2 International Women&#8217;s Day events this year on the strength of my book.
